Don’t just take it from me…

“To say that I am impressed with Mary Beth’s work would be an understatement- more like moved, emotionally fulfilled, and utterly, completely thankful.

We worked with Capture Photography to do a “family” photoshoot- only our family is a little unconventional. It’s myself, my partner, and our two dogs!! We love our dogs like our kids and felt it was important to invest in something that could “capture” the essence of our family and the love we share. Upon arrival we were running late, and feeling a bit frazzled. I had this whole plan, and it had already started to fall apart, but Mary Beth immediately put us at ease and started shooting right away. What I loved most about our experience is that it took no more that 30 seconds for me to realize that I didn’t even need a plan, because Mary Beth is quite literally magic. She gave us gentle direction and shot the ENTIRE time, so as to not miss any special random or candid moments. Our pups were unpredictable, but Mary Beth was calm the entire time, and knew exactly how to handle it. After our shoot I was so worried that we hadn’t given her enough to work with. Boy was I wrong. When we went back to review our photos (part of Capture’s signature experience), the outcome of our shoot brought me to tears. Seeing these moments she was able to capture, despite all the chaos, evoked relief and gratitude, and a newfound understanding of our bond as a family. Yes- we might be chaotic, but it’s those little snapshots of love and calm that Mary Beth was able to catch that mean the most! Thank you to Mary Beth and Capture Photography. Before the shoot, Mary Beth took the time to hear our perspective on each of our kids, their personalities and things we wanted captured as well as our family dynamic. She gave easy tips about wardrobe and things to bring on that day and helped us figure out what clothing choices would look best. On the day, she got our kids to pay attention and smile better than we ever could on our own. She took candids that truly documented our relationship as a family and each person’s true personality.
